Alanna Cohen

Dr. Cohen (she/her) is a teaching instructor for the undergraduate biotechnology program as part of the Department of Plant Biology. She currently teaches Bioinformatics (11:126:485/16:765:585), Comparative Virology (11:126:407), Methods and Applications in Molecular Biology (11:126:427), Molecular Genetics Laboratory (11:126:482), and Seminar in Biotechnology (11:126:401). She is also a first-year advisor for the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences.

Dr. Cohen's research interests include the evolution and architecture of genomes of plant pathogenic fungi using publicly available data and bioinformatic techniques.
