About the Medicinal and Economic Botany Certificate Program
The Medicinal and Economic Botany Certificate is designed to provide students with the fundamental knowledge and applications of medicinal and aromatic plants for human health. In a customizable curriculum, students learn about the traditional and practical uses of plants from different cultures, plant ecology, diversity and evolution, along with modern methods of cultivation and production of plants for various industries.
The Medicinal and Economic Botany Certificate complements many SEBS majors such as Ecology, Evolution and Natural Resources, Biological Sciences, Environmental and Business Economics, Public Health among others.
